The Publican's Guide to Town Planning

Despite the plethora of available guidance and far wider public understanding of the Town Planning system today than perhaps at any time in the last 60 years (perhaps just too much), I still see people getting themselves into difficulties over what they can and cannot do within the planning system.

So, as the start of a series of free guides, I took myself off to a favourite location (my local) and set out a simple guide for Publicans to the Town Planning system.

The contents page is reproduced below. My aim is not to go into a lot of technical detail, but to provide a basic guide to what you can and cannot do in your pub and if you need planning permission. how to go about making that application.
